BJ'S GRILL – Restaurant

A small-town griddle on Jackson Avenue that opens at seven and is done by two, with a dining room built for regulars and carryout for everyone in a hurry. Eggs come cooked to order, biscuits arrive flooded with white sausage gravy, and the omelet list runs from Western to Philly cheesesteak. Buttermilk pancakes and French toast cover the sweet side. Lunch turns to hand-patted burgers, including the Brando and a double smash, alongside a Cuban, a mahi mahi sandwich, fried okra and baskets of sidewinder fries. Fire and ice pickles start things off. Weekdays only, then the lights go off.
