BLU GIN – Restaurant

Blu Gin has held a commercial unit at the base of Castle Beach Club on Collins Avenue since 2014, a restaurant and lounge that runs from morning coffee through to late-night hookah. The kitchen leans Latin: skirt steak churrasco under house chimichurri, a double-bone tomahawk pork chop with pineapple-habanero glaze, chicken milanesa Napolitana, Cuban-style seafood paella, art deco salmon in a honey-garlic glaze, and surf-and-turf plates crowned with jumbo shrimp. Burgers arrive on brioche with fries; pastas run carbonara to frutti di mare. Two-for-one cocktails fill the early evening, and Friday nights bring dinner with a show, no cover charge.
