Sand underfoot, Gulf straight ahead: this is the only restaurant on St. George Island that sits directly on the beach. Pick an open sun deck, the covered upper level, or the air-conditioned room. The kitchen works local seafood hard, with peel-and-eat shrimp, Bahamian conch fritters, smoked yellowfin tuna dip, fried blue crab cocktail claws, grouper old school, stuffed Gulf shrimp, snow crab, New Orleans-style po' boys and a seafood platter built for a table. Burgers, ribeye and an island reuben cover the rest. Florida Monthly has named it best outdoor cafe. The tiki bar pours frozen mango daiquiris; dogs welcome.
