BOATER'S GRILL – Restaurant

Tucked into No Name Harbor inside Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park, Boater's Grill is the rare Miami-area restaurant you can reach by boat and tie up for lunch. The kitchen cooks Cuban and Florida seafood without apology: whole red, cubera, yellowtail and hog snapper sized medium to extra jumbo, seafood paella, lobster and shrimp asopado, stone crab, grilled Florida lobster, shrimp in creole sauce. Start with conch fritters, fish croquettes, ceviche, fried majuas or tostones with shrimp. Flan, key lime pie and guava cheesecake finish. Fried calamari and cod fritters too. Water on three sides, cold beer, no pretence.
