Coal-fired ovens do the talking at Bocca Lupo's Wellen Park room, a modern, family-minded dining space on the Venice side of the postcode with patio seating open when the weather allows. Pizzas run from personal to large, the Italian carrying sausage and meatballs, a prosciutto and arugula build for the lighter-handed. Around them: garlic knots, fried calamari, coal-fired wings from Nashville hot to Korean barbecue, Chicago-style Italian beef with giardiniera, meatball parmigiana, spaghetti and meatballs, baked ziti.
