BOCELLI – Restaurant

On Bayshore Boulevard in South Tampa, Bocelli plays traditional Italian and modern plates off each other on a single menu. Pasta is the centre of gravity: cacio e pepe, carbonara, linguine alle vongole, ravioli cremosi, gnocchi al pesto. Beyond the pasta sit chicken marsala, short rib risotto, an octopus starter and a margherita pizza straight from the oven. Service starts mid-afternoon midweek and earlier at weekends, with Friday and Saturday running to midnight and Sunday closing at nine. Takeout, catering and private parties are all offered. Fresh ingredients, very little fuss, a room built for lingering over a second course.
