BOKAMPER'S – Restaurant
Fort Lauderdale's waterfront branch of a five-strong South Florida group founded in 2008 by former Dolphin Kim Bokamper, sitting on the Intracoastal with a water-taxi stop of its own. Screens everywhere; burgers are fresh, never frozen. The double smash stacks two patties with American cheese and house sauce, while the ultimate cheeseburger goes aged Wisconsin cheddar. Wings come dry-rubbed with lemon pepper or through a rank of Tabanero sauces. Dry-rubbed ribs arrive slow-roasted by the rack. New England clam chowder opens; Florida key lime pie and fried Oreos close. Doors open at half past eleven daily, with late happy hours.
