Forty-five years on A1A with the Atlantic right there, and a ground-floor room regulars simply call The Beach. Open daily eleven to nine, with live music running through rock, reggae, blues, country and jazz. The kitchen plays New England on a Florida coast: Maine lobster roll, an Ipswich clam roll of whole-belly fried clams, steamers in drawn butter, lobster bisque, and fish 'n chips in golden ale batter with key lime tartar. Around them, Bahamian conch bites, smoked fish dip, crackling calamari, the Two-Handed Big Smoky burger under pulled pork, blackened mahi-mahi. Family-friendly, sport on the screens, sand just outside.
