Venezuelan grill work on Lakeside Drive, where the meat cooks over fire in front of you and the room stays loose. The centrepiece is the parrilla: a Supreme Grill of steak, chicken, sausage, pork ribs, cassava and salad, or the Special without the ribs. Cachapas follow, sweet corn pancakes folded around soft cheese with grilled steak plus sausage, chicken or pork. The Botalon Burger stacks beef, chicken, smoked pork chop, bacon, egg, potato sticks and corn. Papelon con limon, sugarcane and lime, alongside. Diners keep naming the ribs, the prices and the welcome. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays; late on weekends.
