BPB LAGO CAFE – Restaurant

A Latin bakery and cafe on Northwest 12th Street in Doral, trading as Boulangerie Pastry & Bread and open weekdays only. The pastry case is the point: cachitos de queso, cachitos stuffed with turkey ham and cream cheese, Venezuelan cheese empanadas, Argentinian chicken empanadas, croissants. Sandwiches, hot plates and coffee carry the lunch hour for the office crowd around Blue Lagoon. Doors open at seven and close at four, so the place belongs entirely to the working day and empties with it. Nothing elaborate here, nothing slow, and nothing precious. Bakery first, lunch counter second, and thoroughly busy at both.
