Bronx House Pizza's Beach Boulevard store bakes in a hand-crafted brick oven fired to 550 degrees, aiming squarely at New York: a crust that comes out crisp and golden underneath while staying light, airy and chewy. Pies range from the fully loaded Department of Sanitation to the Big Al with pepperoni, sausage and banana peppers, and the ricotta-and-meatball Beast of Burden. Detroit-style pan versions include the bacon-jam Haymaker. Beyond pizza there are hot heroes, pasta specialties, calzones, garlic knots, salads and desserts, with gluten-free and vegan options. Open from eleven most days, noon on Sundays, for dine-in, pickup and catering.
