Doors open at noon, seven days a week, on North Ponce de Leon Boulevard, and the smell of waffle cones baking gives the place away before you park. Bruster's freezes its ice cream inside the store from a milk-based mix, which is what keeps the texture dense; more than two dozen flavors rotate daily out of roughly 150 recipes. Blasts, sundaes, banana splits, shakes and freezes fill the board, alongside sherbet, Italian ice and non-dairy oat-milk scoops, with cakes and pies made to order. Bring the dog for a free sundae. Children under three feet get a free baby cone.
