CAFE AVANTI – Restaurant

Dinner only, doors at five, and a dining room on West 41st Street that Miami Beach locals have treated as an extension of home since 1989. Cafe Avanti is family owned and cooks traditional Italian without theatrics: calamari fritti, polpette di vitello and tuna tartare to start, then lobster ravioli, linguine con vongole, gamberoni fra diavolo, pappardelle bolognese, arborio risotti, veal and chicken preparations, and a bistecca fiorentina off the grill.
