BaiT means home in Hebrew, and Assaf and Ariel built their Cooper City counter inside Aroma Market on Stirling Road around exactly that idea. Mornings start with an Israeli breakfast — two eggs your way, chopped salad, labaneh and a bread basket — or shakshuka in homemade sauce served with pita. The smoked benedict layers sourdough and butter croissant with avocado, red onion, smoked salmon, sunny-side eggs and cilantro; there is croissant havita, sabich pita and avocado toast with feta. Fridays only, jachnun. Salads, pastries, gelato and fresh-squeezed juice fill out the board, and a reusable cup halves your coffee.
