CAFE DEL MUNDO – Restaurant

On the Cocoa Beach Causeway, Cafe del Mundo is a locally owned cafe, bakery and ice cream shop that keeps going long after the beach crowd heads home. The freezer counter drives it: double scoops across fruit sorbets, chocolate and oddities like Mexican hot chocolate and Cookie Monster, a banana split under three syrups, and the Bathtub sundae, three scoops with fruit, syrup, whipped cream, sprinkles and chocolate duckies. Espresso turns up in the Chocolatta and in affogato. Crepes, acai bowls, smoothies, sodas and bakery items fill the rest of the board. A dessert stop that takes ice cream seriously.
