CAFE LA BOHEME – Restaurant

Licensed as Cafe La Boheme and trading as Boheme Bistro, this brick-built, airy room sits on East Atlantic Avenue a short walk from the sand and runs from eight in the morning until late. The kitchen swings between France, Italy and the eastern Mediterranean: escargots in garlic butter, baked brie, baba ganoush and stuffed grape leaves to start, then rigatoni bolognese with Chianti and shaved parmigiano, linguine vongole, duck a l'orange, rack of lamb or steak frites. Mornings bring challah French toast and eggs Norwegian. Half-price drinks and small plates land late afternoon. Regulars keep coming back for the range.
