CAFE SOLE – Restaurant
A Jupiter restaurant and bar on South US Highway 1 that runs lunch from eleven and dinner from three, and cooks with more ambition than the strip-plaza address suggests. Starters lean coastal and Italian: PEI mussels in white, red or a drunken tequila sauce, grilled Portuguese octopus over arugula, carpaccio di manzo, the house crab cake of jumbo lump with bacon and corn. Mains go steakhouse — hanger steak with a chopped wedge, centre-cut filet mignon, fall-apart baby back ribs, duck a l'orange with Grand Marnier, beef stroganoff over egg noodles. Pizza and pasta have their own card. Reservations available.
