CAFFE DA MICHELE OSTERIA – Restaurant

Set in a Corkscrew Road plaza in Estero, this Italian osteria builds its day around house-made pasta. The antipasti open gently: meatballs della nonna, prosciutto with burrata, grilled artichoke salad, caprese. Then the pasta board takes over, with rigatoni alla carbonara, lasagna all'Emiliana, lobster ravioli, gnocchi in creamy pesto and burrata, fettuccine with vodka and shrimp, plus a risotto that changes daily. Secondi stay classic and coastal, from branzino alla livornese and salmone alla veneziana to veal marsala scaloppine and chicken piccata. Doors open late morning through evening every day, later on weekends. Honest Italian cooking, served without any ceremony.
