CAJUN CRAB – Restaurant
A Commerce Center Drive boil house on Jacksonville's east side, open until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. You build your own: pick blue crab, snow crab, Dungeness, crawfish, clams, mussels or head-on shrimp by the pound, choose Cajun, lemon pepper, garlic butter or the Juicy Special, then set a heat level from none to extra hot. It arrives in a bag with potatoes, corn and boiled eggs. Named combos run Baton Rouge, Mardi Gras, French Quarter, Grand Isle. Also gumbo, New Orleans fettuccine, creole fried rice, fried baskets, hush puppies, raw oysters, beignets. Messy by design, and better for it.
