CAMPIELLO – Restaurant
Inside the historic Naples Mercantile building on Third Street South, Campiello cooks rustic contemporary Italian over open fire and out of a wood-burning oven. A regional Tour di Italia menu changes monthly, so the canon here keeps moving, but linguine fini with clams and whole chili, carbonara with guanciale and grana padano, cavatelli under Molise pork ragu, and a porcini-rubbed Kurobuta pork rib-eye with mushroom farroto hold their ground. Florida cobia and grouper turn up across the salads and entrees. The adjoining Club Room adds cocktails and live music. Naples Illustrated named it the city's best Italian restaurant in 2015.
