The 30A branch of Canopy Road Cafe sits at Seagrove Beach on East County Highway 30A, a Florida diner tribute that opens at half past six and stops at quarter past two, seven days a week. Breakfast is the point: rolled omelettes like the Goat in the Garden and Surfer Girl, skillets, biscuits and gravy, corned beef hash, and griddle plates running to blueberry cobbler cakes, sweet potato pancakes and churro waffles. Lunch adds smashburgers, the Dagwood, a Palm Beach club, a chipotle chicken sandwich and a blackened salmon salad. Regulars talk mostly about the sheer size of the pancakes.
