CANOPY ROAD CAFÉ JACKSONVILLE – Restaurant

The Jacksonville arm of a north Florida breakfast-and-lunch chain, with cafés on Philips Highway, in Mandarin and out at St Johns, all running 6:30am to 2:15pm daily and all seating walk-ins only. Expect diner cooking with a serious twist: pork chop and eggs, a biscuit-and-gravy combo, avocado toast under basted eggs and micro greens, bagel and lox, salmon benedict, chicken and waffles. Skillets arrive three eggs deep. Sandwiches run Philly cheesesteak, chipotle chicken on brioche, the A.B.C. on nine-grain. Smashburgers include a patty melt on Texas toast. Sweet potato pancakes with candied pecans, if you have the appetite for them.
