Carmela's brings a full kosher kitchen to West Camino Real in Boca Raton, cooking Italian and sushi to Cholov Yisroel and Pas Yisroel standards without treating either as a compromise. Starters range from crispy tuna bites and an eggplant stack to blackened cod fish tacos, floret pops and French onion soup. Pasta runs penne alla vodka and fettuccine Alfredo; the fish list leans on blackened salmon and baby bella salmon. Salads are a genuine draw, particularly the crispy sweet potato and quinoa versions.
