Downtown Fort Lauderdale's Las Olas strip gets its morning fuel here, where the blenders start at seven and rarely stop. Carrot Express opened inside a Miami Beach gas station in 1993 under founder Mario Laufer and now runs close to thirty fast-casual rooms across South Florida and New York. The Las Olas kitchen turns out all-day breakfast plates like the Scrambled and the Ultimate Croissant Eggwich, plus power bowls, wraps and the tropical Julie smoothie of pineapple, orange juice, mango, banana and strawberry. Weekdays run until nine, weekends stop earlier at six. Dine in, take it out, or order ahead.
