CASA REINA – Restaurant
Casa Reina sits on the bayfront at the foot of the Bridge of Lions in historic downtown St. Augustine, with an expansive rooftop for cocktails above the dining room. The cooking crosses Mexican, Latin American and Florida coastal: short-rib taquitos under guajillo barbecue sauce, jalapeno rellenos, Mexican sushi rolled with seared tuna, eight-layer nachos, short-rib chile relleno, tequila lime grouper, the Ancient City ribeye, seared tuna and fajita bowls, seafood enchiladas in blue crab cream. Beer-battered grouper and Nashville-style hot chicken fill the tacos. Churros and flan de queso close it. The tequila and mezcal list runs deep, flights included.
