CASADONNA – Restaurant

A waterfront dining room on North Bayshore Drive with Biscayne Bay at the windows and a dock for arriving boats. The cooking is coastal Italian, drawn from Naples, Bari, Positano and Gaeta. Openers include burrata with kaluga caviar, hamachi crudo, beef tartare, crispy baby artichokes, grilled octopus with salmoriglio, and wagyu meatballs in a spicy pomodoro. Pasta runs to mafaldine with Maine lobster, linguini vongole, campanelle bolognese, sweet corn risotto. Steaks come by the cut, from filet mignon up to a thirty-four-ounce porterhouse. Sunday brunch, a pizza class and dock-and-dine fill out the week. Book ahead; a service charge applies.
