Haitian home cooking on SE 2nd Avenue in Delray Beach, open every day from nine in the morning to half past nine at night. The centre of the menu is griyo, the fried pork, flanked by poul peyi chicken stew, kabrit goat, turkey, wings, chicken gizzards and beef feet. Rice does real work here: diri djon djon darkened with black mushrooms, diri lalo with jute leaves, lima-bean rice, bulgur ble. Mornings bring mayi moulin cornmeal, bouyon, soup joumou and akra fritters. Conch and fish cover the seafood; pikliz sharpens the plate. Dine in, take it away, or have it catered.
