CEPAS TAPAS – Restaurant

Spanish tapas and an ambitious wine list, poured in Carrollwood since 2012 and now in a second Tampa dining room on North Dale Mabry. The cheese board is properly regional — aged Manchego, Galician tetilla, smoked Idiazabal, Cabrales blue — and the charcuterie runs to jamon serrano, lomo iberico de bellota and chorizo Palacios. From the kitchen: pulpo a la gallega, rabo de toro with crispy potatoes, tortilla de patatas, albondigas, gildas, boquerones en vinagreta, pan con tomate, paellas and flatbreads. A private cellar seats twelve for celebrations. Order Albarino with the seafood, Tempranillo with the meat, and share everything.
