LA CASA DELLA PASTA – Restaurant

Mara and Franco left Piedmont for a small dining room on Ehrlich Road, and the cooking has stayed stubbornly Italian since they took the place on in 2017. Pasta is made in house and the menu wanders region to region — ravioli di formaggio alla vodka, cavatelli alla panna, pappardelle al ragù, lasagna assembled by hand. The wine list leans hard toward Italian bottles. It is dinner only, the room is small, and reservations are the sensible move. Diners keep placing it among the more convincing Italian kitchens in north Tampa. Book ahead and take your time.
