CEVICHE DOZO – Restaurant

A Japanese kitchen in Hollywood run by Chef Harumi, who cooked in Japan and London before opening here. The name says ceviche; the card reads izakaya. Begin the meal with edamame, miso soup, pork gyoza, agedashi tofu or crispy tuna tataki, then move to chicken katsu curry built on a house curry simmered forty-eight hours, chicken karaage, lomo, poke or yakisoba. Osaka street food gets a section of its own, okonomiyaki and onigiri included. Ceviche is tossed with limes squeezed to order, red onion and yuca fries, spiced to the level you pick. Finish with matcha cheesecake or daifuku mochi.
