A small family-run counter on Alhambra Circle, easy to miss because it shares a doorway with a hair salon, with a few pavement tables outside. Breakfast and lunch only. Mornings mean cafe con leche, breakfast wraps, omelettes, croquettes and empanadas; the middle of the day brings steak sandwiches, Cuban sandwiches, quesadillas, salads, soups and weekly specials. Regulars turn up several times a week and get greeted by name, and the owner will happily build something that is not on the board. Seven to four on weekdays, shorter on Saturday, shut Sunday. Small, cheap, homemade, and quietly good at its job.
