Sarasota's Charleys sits inside a Walmart Supercenter off Lockwood Ridge, a compact griddle counter turning out cheesesteaks strictly to order. Steak is chopped on the flat-top, cheese melted straight into it, the roll toasted before assembly. Look for the Philly Cheesesteak, the Old School, the loaded Bacon 3, and chicken versions including Chicken California, Chicken Buffalo and Chicken Teriyaki. Fries come original, cheese-topped, cajun-seasoned or loaded. Wings are offered classic or boneless in sauces spanning garlic parmesan, Korean BBQ and sweet teriyaki. Real-fruit lemonades and thick blended shakes finish the order. Cheap, hot, and out of the window remarkably fast.
