North Naples, at the Granada Shoppes corner of Tamiami Trail and Immokalee Road, is where Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen planted its newest southwest Florida dining room. The format is scratch cooking at chain scale: honey butter croissants baked on site, hand-breaded chicken tenders, Santa Fe spinach dip, Wisconsin cheese bites, baked potato soup. Mains run through homemade chicken pot pie, country fried steak, New Orleans pasta, baby back ribs, top sirloin, grilled salmon and Key West chicken and shrimp. Hand-crafted lemonades, poured by the glass or the gallon, and the two-drink-limit Painkiller cover the bar. Comfort food, honest pricing, no pretence.
