The branch on NE Miami Gardens Drive serves the same Peruvian-Chinese repertoire the Tou family has cooked around Miami for more than thirty-five years, working from recipes handed down through the generations. Fried wantan and Siu May open the meal; Chaufa Especial, Tallarin Saltado, Lomo Saltado, Pollo Chi Jau Kay and Kamlu Wantan anchor it; Chancho con Pina brings the sweet-sour note, with nabo encurtido alongside. What diners repeat most is the sheer volume of food arriving for the money. Dine in, take out or order catering, daily until nine-thirty. Familiar, filling and reliably busy through most of the evening.
