CHINA BUFFET – Restaurant

Despite the name, China Buffet on Cleveland Avenue in Fort Myers trades as a made-to-order takeout counter rather than a steam table. The card is broad and cheap: egg rolls, cheese wontons, chicken nuggets and twenty sweet donuts to start, then chow mein, lo mein, egg foo young and fried rice in every protein. Chef's specials bring Triple Crown, Four Seasons, sesame beef, orange-flavour beef and a seafood combination. Kung po shrimp, curry chicken and stir-fried string beans cover the rest. Combination plates arrive with an egg roll and pork fried rice. Lunch specials run cheaper still. Pickup is online.
