CHINA GOURMET – Restaurant

Tuesdays aside, China Gourmet keeps a steady rhythm on US Highway 27 in Clermont: lunch plates until three, dinner until nine, pickup only. The lunch list runs more than thirty deep and lands under ten dollars with roast pork fried rice, a soda or soup. Combination dinners arrive with a pork egg roll. The house specials are where it opens up: Happy Family, Four Seasons, Tung Ting shrimp with straw mushrooms and baby corn, and Chow San Sing bringing shrimp, chicken and beef together. Wings come plain or in buffalo, honey and garlic. Fried plantains are on the appetizer list.
