CHINA GOURMET – Restaurant

Bradenton's China Gourmet, out on 53rd Avenue East, runs one of the better lunch bargains around: more than thirty plates at a single low price between half past ten and three, each with pork or white rice and a choice of soup, egg roll or soda. Mongolian beef, kung pao tofu, black pepper chicken, orange chicken and General Tso's all appear on it. The full card adds steamed or fried dumplings, barbecue spare ribs, ho fun and mei fun noodles, moo shu, chef's specialties, a diet list and party trays. Pickup and delivery both run late into the evening here.
