CHINA LATINA – Restaurant
On East Busch Boulevard, China Latina cooks two kitchens at once and lets them share a plate. Mofongo is the hinge: mashed fried plantain in garlic butter, served solo or crowned with carne frita, fried pork chops, camarones al ajillo, pepper beef or General Tso's chicken. A comida criolla page carries bistec de palomilla and canoa with white or yellow rice. The Chinese half is complete in its own right — fried half chicken, barbecued rib tips, krab rangoon, egg foo young, lo mein, mei fun, chef's specialties. Fried green and sweet plantains bridge the two. Everything is written bilingually.
