CHINA WOK – Restaurant

Closed Mondays, open otherwise from late morning until ten, this Clark Road storefront prints its menu in Chinese and English side by side. Start with fried chicken wings, crab rangoon, shrimp toast or the pu pu platter for two, then hot and sour soup. The kitchen's range is wide: General Tso's chicken, sesame chicken, Mongolian beef, kung bo shrimp, chicken with cashew nuts, pineapple chicken, string beans with beef. Szechuan and Hunan sections handle the spice; a General Tso's tofu covers vegetarians. Combination platters arrive with rice. Unfussy neighbourhood Chinese food, cooked to order and packed for the drive home.
