CHRISTYS – Restaurant
A Coral Gables steakhouse that has held its corner of Ponce de Leon Boulevard since 1978, with intimate, art-hung dining rooms and a kitchen built around prime aged beef. The Caesar salad, tossed with house-made rustic croutons and grated parmesan, is the opener most tables share. From there: filet mignon in three sizes, a twenty-ounce rib eye, New York strip, slow-roasted prime rib carved to order, and a tomahawk for sharing. Seafood holds its own with herb-crusted sea bass, miso maple salmon and scallops over pancetta and English pea risotto. Truffle mac and gruyere gratin potatoes alongside. Private dining available.
