CHUBBY MERMAID BREWING CO – Restaurant

A working brewery in a Bonita Springs industrial unit that runs a proper kitchen alongside the tanks, closing Mondays so the brewers can get on with it. Lunch brings a giant pretzel with house beer cheese, loaded chicken nachos, and El Trio, an elote salad served with in-house salsa and spinach-artichoke dip. The pressed criollo-bread sandwiches are the draw: Clasico, El Cubano, La Tripleta. Burgers run from the OG cheeseburger to Granny's, stacked with grilled Granny Smith apples, cambozola and bacon jam, with a black-bean patty for vegetarians. Build-your-own pizzas too. Veteran-owned, and the evening menu kicks in at four.
