A chip shop on Highway 50 built around one thing done properly: fish in hand-battered coats, fried to order and served with chips. Cod and haddock anchor the board, with grouper, shrimp, clam strips and a combination plate for the undecided, plus battered sausage, steak and chips and chicken tenders. British staples fill the rest of the card, savoury pies, a chip butty, and sticky toffee pudding with custard to finish, while hush puppies, sweet corn nuggets, fried pickles and onion rings nod to Florida. Key lime pie is there. The kitchen closes Mondays and Tuesdays, so plan around it.
