Jamaican and Caribbean cooking on NW 2nd Avenue in Little Haiti, a counter kitchen that runs from eggs and grits through to oxtail. Jerk chicken comes small or large with two sides; so do oxtail, curry goat, jerk pork, stew chunks, brown stew chicken. There is jerk BBQ chicken, curry shrimp, escovitch and steamed snapper, and conch done four ways. Sides mean rice and peas, steamed cabbage, plantains, potato salad, and a beef or veggie patty. Drink the homemade ginger beer, sorrel or Irish moss. Soups run chicken and red pea. Breakfast, lunch and dinner, with catering by the tray.
