COAST TO COAST PIZZA COMPANY – Italian
A woman- and veteran-owned pizza shop in Marathon that filters its water through a custom New York system to chase the mineral balance behind classic New York dough. Three styles come off the bench: New York, Detroit and Sicilian. Grande cheese is shredded and blended in house, tomatoes are hand-picked California rather than concentrate, herbs are fresh, and the sauces, dressings and pickled jalapenos are all made on site. Pies run from a straight Margherita to buffalo chicken and the specialty Hot Head and taco versions. Key lime pie is built from scratch. Open every day, from eleven until nine.
