COCOS JUANCHO – Restaurant

A Venezuelan truck built around the coconut, and it shows in every cup. Coconuts are cracked to order for cold water; sugarcane goes through the press for guarapo, often finished with lemon. The cocada is the thing people queue for, blended thick and offered with condensed milk and cinnamon. Savoury side, the pabellon empanada carries shredded beef, beans and plantain in a fried corn shell. Through the week the truck parks in Medley; at weekends it works the Doral area, roughly nine until seven. Customers keep mentioning the freshness of the juice and the warmth of the people serving it.
