A Cuban coffee house with two Miami Beach counters, one on Meridian by Lincoln Road and one on Washington Avenue, both open from seven in the morning. The namesake cortadito is the point, but the food is real: sunrise brioche, ham and cheese croissant, a brioche Cuban, chicken honey mustard melt, turkey avocado BLT, chicken avocado wrap, loaded avocado toast, yogurt parfait. The pastry case runs to croquetas, cheese tequenos, empanadas, pastelitos and banana bread. Power Duos pair a drink with a bite for people already running late.
