Out on Cortez Road West, beside the historic fishing village, The Clam runs from ten in the morning until two the next. Gulf seafood meets house-smoked barbecue: grouper, triple tail, cod, shrimp, clams and oysters, plus maple and brown-sugar bacon cured on site that turns up in the Triple Bacon Threat Burger and the BLT. The week keeps a rhythm, with taco baskets Monday, chipotle grouper Tuesday, live Maine lobster Wednesday, prime rib Thursday, fish fry Friday, steak Saturday and meatloaf Sunday.
