COSME CAFE – Restaurant

A Bird Road family cafe that opens at seven and runs on Cuban home cooking, with cortaditos and coladas going out all morning. Breakfast is perico, eggs and bistec a caballo. After that the long menu takes over: croquetas, tequenos, chicharron, tostones rellenos stuffed with vaca frita, and a picada de la casa to share. Steaks come in every cut, palomilla, churrasco, picana, milanesa de res. Pure de malanga and crema de malanga are the house signatures. Ropa vieja, arroz con mariscos, camarones al ajillo and the frita cubana round it out. Tres leches or flan to finish. Closed Sundays.
