COUNTRY COOKIN DINER – Restaurant

Made from scratch since 1985, and the family tree shows it: Debby Broome learned the trade at Kountry Kitchen before opening Country Cookin' Diner in 2001. Breakfast runs all day - country scrambler under sausage gravy, chicken Florentine omelets, challah French toast, Cajun shrimp over gouda and cheddar grits. Lunch turns Southern: country fried steak over rice, meatloaf, liver and onions, chopped sirloin, catfish, a smothered chicken bowl, with collards and fried okra alongside. Regulars come for the portions and the prices, plus homemade soup sold by the quart. Three Brevard rooms, Rockledge and Cocoa, all working the same card.
