CRABBY BILLS – Restaurant

Bill and Dolores Loder came south from New Jersey and opened a seafood shack on Gulf Boulevard in 1983; the family still runs it. Order the 1983 Baked Crab Ellie, jumbo lump crab rolled with Ritz crackers and broiled in butter, or Everglades gator tail, grilled octopus over Greek salad, shrimp and sausage gumbo. Mains run the Tybee Island Seafood Feast, snow crab and Alaskan red king crab dinners, Cousin Pauly's lobster roll, real grouper blackened or fried. Virginia oysters get shucked to order at the shell bar inside. Indoors until ten; the open-air Loading Dock runs live music nightly.
